Dixit – Storytelling Picture Card Game

Eighty-four dreamlike illustrations and no right answers. The storyteller looks at one card in their hand and says a word, a phrase, a hummed tune — anything. Everyone else submits a card that could also fit. Then you all vote on which one was the original.

The scoring is the clever part: if everybody guesses right, the storyteller gets nothing. Too obvious loses. Too obscure loses. You're aiming for the clue that exactly half the table understands.

It works with children who can't read yet and with adults who overthink everything, often at the same table.
